“There needs to be a lot more emphasis on what a child can do instead of what they can’t do.”

Temple Grandin

Like one of my heroes, Temple Grandin says, I am a champion of all kinds of minds. I love supporting students in developing habits and skills that foster a sense of personal responsibility and pride, intrinsic motivation, curiosity, and a passion for learning. My approach is highly relational, strengths-based, and fun!

Whether your student is on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a 504, an Advanced Learning Plan (ALP), or they simply need additional support with reading, writing, math, study habits, social and emotional learning (SEL), or executive functioning, I will hype them up and be their guide. Focusing on identified areas in which they struggle, I provide targeted support, coaching, and accountability so that they can relate to their education and personhood with greater confidence - able to achieve higher levels of personal and academic success!

As an educator, I strive to be the mentor and coach that I always wanted and needed as a kid - a teacher who valued me as a unique individual, who validated my fears and struggles, who celebrated my gifts, talents, and skills, inspired curiosity and a passion for learning, and who showed me that the gold of life lies in overcoming challenges.

If your student would benefit from this kind of coaching, I would love to support them! Sessions and Packages are available on a sliding scale with limited scholarships available. Please reach out to schedule a 20-minute discovery call.
